Ground mounted plants
Ground mount removes the roof constraint and replaces it with three new ones: land, soil and evacuation. Get those right and everything downstream is straightforward.
Land, soil, evacuation in that order
Before a single module is procured, three questions decide whether a ground-mount project works: is the land title clean and the terrain workable, what does the soil bear, and where does the power actually go.
We front-load all three. Geotechnical investigation sets the foundation design; a topographical survey sets the row spacing and drainage; and an evacuation study establishes the interconnection point before the layout is frozen.
What the contract actually covers
Everything below is delivered by us and written into your agreement — no line items appearing later as extras.
Land and title assessment
Terrain suitability, access, drainage and documentation review.
Geotechnical investigation
Bore testing and soil resistivity to set foundation and earthing design.
Topographical survey
Contour mapping driving row pitch, inter-row shading and drainage layout.
Civil works
Foundations, internal roads, cable trenching, boundary and control room.
Module mounting structure
Fixed-tilt or seasonally adjustable, engineered to wind and seismic zone.
Evacuation and switchyard
Inverter stations, transformers, HT panels and metering.
Grid connectivity approvals
Connectivity application, CEIG clearance and commissioning.
Full-scope O&M
Module cleaning, vegetation management, thermography and reporting.

Frequently asked questions
How much land per megawatt?
Around four to five acres for a fixed-tilt plant at Odisha’s latitude, including inter-row spacing, roads and switchyard. Uneven terrain increases the requirement.
Do you handle land acquisition?
No. We assess suitability and advise on technical fit, but acquisition, title verification and land-use conversion should go through your own legal counsel.
Fixed tilt or tracker?
Trackers raise yield but add capital cost and moving parts to maintain. At Odisha irradiance levels fixed tilt usually gives the better risk-adjusted return below about 5 MW — we model both.
